With only a few days left to see this exhibit I had to get this post up on the blog! If you are in the Dallas area and have not seen the Dior exhibit yet, you absolutely must before it closes September 1st.
This exhibit is exquisitely curated, with nearly 200 haute couture pieces on display. Each garment tells the story not only of its’ time but also the woman it represents. The exhibit focuses on the story of Christina Dior but also the subsequent heads of house – Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chirui.
The exhibition will be open from 10:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. August 1–31. Adult tickets are $20 Tuesday–Thursday, and $25 Friday–Sunday, with discounts for seniors, students, and military.
Below is an image summary of my visit, not that the photos do it justice! I am fairly certain this is what heaven might look like for me on the other side…enjoy!
